Thank you! And it was a pleasure to hear Sebene’s lovely melodic voice as well. Jeff, your meditations fly by.. I go into a place where time doesn’t exist or pass. I just am. It’s so simple and elegant. What a great way to begin my day!
“Such a relief…the simple fact of that interconnected relationship…is kind of a continual signal of support “- gratitude for this thought Jeff 💕 I also want to feel this every day, it’s one of my yearnings. And I think it ties into the experience of trust that you’ve mentioned.
This time revealed more of you, Jeff, to me. Your voice ...for me, in warp speed, joined with the openness of Peace and Grace, inviting all, your own encouragement for equanimity. To lay down all and step into the gifts present right in front of me. No push. No gotta do or have. Simple yet profound gratefulness. Thank you, Jeff.
Beautiful, light, yet so deep. Your meditations are always captivating, grounding and wise, Jeff. Loved Sebene and Cha Cha and the great Brooklyn ambience. TYSM. 🙏🏽
What a treat to find you and Sebene together in my inbox this morning - picture and voices - truly a tonic for my soul. The two of you together are seriously more than the “sum of the parts”. It is especially poignant since I will miss the “Meditation Party” at Omega this year. I registered in January, received an email confirming my spot + accommodations but found out in July that I was supposed to receive a second email which I did not receive :-( Note to self - read ALL THE FINE PRINT! I’ve been basking in the anticipation for months but . . . . Hopefully next year. You two plus Dan are really my anchors in this crazy world and the solid base of my meditation practice. Thank you, thank you❣️
The dog bark “chime” at the end was priceless … and pretty much just as effective as the Tibetan bowl, for me at least :) thanks for this meditation and the conversation.
I have to admit I didn’t understand quite a bit of what Seb was saying in some of the technical terms she used so maybe those could be unpacked a bit because everything she said seemed very compelling. A sense came over me of: I want to learn more about this and move toward it.
This exact moment. These exact people. This exact configuration. It could have been any way, but it turned out this way.”
These are the words replaying in my mind this evening, after a powerful weekend of meditating and of experiencing every possible emotion and feeling in sort of “turbo-charged” formats. I actually couldn’t believe that the first thing I did when I got home after meditating all weekend (I’m still not unpacked!) was to do yet another meditation. But I guess riding the wave of momentum is the smart move.
This meditation felt great to come home to. I love what you and Sebene were talking about related to being in a relationship with our environments at all times. We fail to be conscious of that relationship much of the time, because we are doing and going and making and fixing and living, I guess. But when we drop into the exact moment we are in and really relax and rest into a space of receptivity and spaciousness, the thriving, bubbling, buzzing, to-ing and fro-ing world around us moves into our active awareness. And it’s so cool to just surrender to that….or to try to at least.
Jeff, it’s nearly impossible to select one or five or even a hundred of the biggest and most impactful takeaways from your retreat this weekend. It was almost like a greatest hits of all the things you say that are like these magic skeleton keys to my heart. But for the moment, the one that is coming through the loudest is that consistency in meditation is preparing the soil. We are working the soil in preparation for insights to bloom. We don’t look for or strive for the insights. But we do the work. And then we may see blooms.
This weekend was hard work. Lots of mindful soil tilling, in community with a hundred or more other farmers in practice. But i have renewed energy to mind my garden and care for it gently and consistently. The blooms will come when they will come. For now, I do the work. And there is such joy in knowing that there are so many of us all doing this work so we can be better for ourselves, and each other.
Jeff, my gratitude for you and the community you have created is so big right now, my heart feels sort of too big for my chest.
Love you all. What an absolute PRIVILEGE and joy to be surrounded by many of you in person this weekend. How lucky I am and we were.
And my GOODNESS how gorgeous to get to hear the wisdom of Sebene today. What a treat.
The perfect way to re-enter the world on the train home after this weekend’s powerful, authentic, beautifully challenging retreat with @Jeff Warren at Omega. Thank you, once again and always.
It love the mediation and so nice to hear the lovely chat at the end. And of course Cha-Cha. I was really struck by “these people, these sounds, this connection. It could have been any way but it’s this way.” Very beautiful way to think about things. Thank you.

Loved all the background noise. Reminds me to ‘Let it Be’. Thank you Jeff, Sebene and Cha-Cha 🐶

Thanks Richard, for sharing. I feel the same way. The quote you mention at the beginning also really stuck with me.
Feeling similar joy Richard, and gratitude for your thoughts 💗💖💗💖💗
