What adjustment do we make in our bodies when we handle something with care? When we reach for a grandparent’s shaky arm, or a baby’s soft fontanelle, or a treasured keepsake?
I see it in many contexts, from the way my dad handles wood in his workshop, to how my friend Lynne folds open a fresh pea pod. In this meditation, we find the care in our hands, let it settle us, and then we spread it around.
