You are the best Jeff! Thank you for always keeping it real! It’s your magic. It’s what draws us all to you. You empower us by example.

Listened to one of your old Daily Trips “Getting Ahead of Yourself”before a surgical procedure I had last week. It really helped calm my nerves and placed me in the now. All went well and the worry for not.🙏🏻

"letting my body do what it is going to do...

When I unhook my agenda from the natural unfolding of my body, it can do what it does best,

which is express and heal, and be." Again, thank you for that reminder.

The perfect amount of share. Such a relatable experience and a helpful reminder that nervousness, anxiety, worry about change (or anything else) are not things that goes away with meditation, rather meditation helps us be with them and respond skillfully rather than react blindly. Another dose of great medicine.

Recover well, Jeff, and everyone else on the mend.

As always Jeff, thanks for keeping it real & being so unapologetically human, which helps the rest of us fellow humans, as we (I) struggle along. Speedy recovery.

Thanks for this very helpful meditation. I'm struggling to cope with unwanted change, and meditation help me feel calmer, more centred and able to manage things.

I hope your surgical procedure went well and your on the road to recovery ❤️

I’ve had 5 surgeries in the last 4-5 years, all orthopedic. I chalk it up to the price of getting older and being athletic my whole life! I don’t regret any of the marathons/half marathons I’ve run just wished I would have crossed trained more LOL. Still, grateful to be able to try and keep up with people quite a bit younger than me! Hehe

Thanks for meditation on Change 😊

Sending good, healing vibes your way!

Thank you for this meditation, Jeff. Hope all went well.

It reminded me of 10 years ago when I got my tubes tied. A decision that I have been considering forever and then it just felt right. My daughter was 17 and it was time. This was before I learned to meditate. This meditation would have been very helpful at that time for me.

Thank you for real life meditations.

Sending as much love, healing ❤️‍🩹 and growth as I can to you, my friend. Thank you for your commitment to vulnerability with this community. It is what sets this space and you apart, in my view: Real life, applied mindfulness. You carry us on our individual journeys every day. I’m glad to be able to do my small bit and offer you the same caring and “one-ness” you give to me every day. 🧘🏻‍♂️🩵

Thank you Jeff. I admire your courage having made this decision -- making this change as a thoughtful, deliberate act. These meditations from real life are very helpful, since as you've said elsewhere the point is to make our days more meditative. What is particularly valuable for me is that you have offered us many entry points for shifting the conversations we have with ourselves at particularly stressful moments. Heal well.

Lovely meditation Jeff. Thanks for sharing and hope you are already feeling better.

I learned Dutch fairly recently and I noticed that they tend to use the same word for nervous and excited - "spannend". I think there are other words for both but this is the one I heard most often by far. I think it's very truthful about how these states are very similar - the tension that a step into the unknown brings, that can be pleasurable and uncomfortable at the same time.

There's another word the Dutch a lot - "sterkte" which means strength. They wish it to one another before a new endeavour. Sterkte to you Jeff! (As a side note - it keeps autocorrecting to "sterile". The computer knows!)

Jeff I hope all went well. This meditation brought tears to my eyes it’s so helpful to see how vulnerable and honest you are. I just had meniscus surgery. Sitting with my leg propped up and iced. I’m thankful for you

Good luck, Jeff! What a lovely meditation to do in the middle of the big move I just undertook. Thanks for posting for us all in the realness of hard stuff, and I hope the procedure goes smoothly.
