Just came back from a 5 year olds birthday party where the situation was frantic to say the least... Now I'm strutting around my mind and now our house like the 4th Earl of Montgomery, fantastic! Thank you most graciously Lord Warren of Torontoshire 🧘🏻‍♂️😅

Yesss....

The dramatic effect of a coloured wig and a, 18th century inspired, puff shirt with mutton sleeves and accessorized with an ornate cravate and a redingote (frock shirt for the ungrateful english colonials) are undeniably working for me.

That's the exact picture I have in mind when I do it. Still....

It's very empowering and I feel distinguished if I use a cane ...

I aristocratically and reverently bow for bringing it to normalcy.

The accompanying meditation is a humoresque bagatelle that goes with the imagery. Harmoniously.

PS : I have the pictures to prove it. Not even kidding...

And bringing a

Jeff, you are magnificent. The meditation was magnificent. I felt magnificent. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I really must go out and howl at the moon. Not because I was offended. Just thought it sounded like something ridiculously magnificent to do. It’s a full moon too!!! Maybe you’ll hear me in Canada. Michigan is not that far away.

This was so silly and I loved every minute of the silliness because it made me smile! And yes I do remember the 80s very clearly and had the perm to prove it. Thanks Jeff. I truly love your meditations. Lucy

Lucy this made me think of my friend who has done my hair since the 80s - he always imitates Billy Crystal’s SNL character “Dahling, you look mahvelous “ this made me think of him so I’ll text him today just to say hi and spread the silliness.

I right there with you, Lucy! Remember the 80’s, and those perms. It was quite a decade!

I love this! It reminds me of Frank Farrelly‘s Provocative Therapy. It’s not about offending someone who’s running on empty, it’s about making people laugh at themselves in their desolation. It‘s so healing! I’m often far too serious myself and this meditation made me just laugh! Thank you Jeff!

Never heard of that kind of therapy - how cool! Need to look it up.

This ridiculous practice was, in fact, profoundly moving....and perfect....and enriching. Thank you for taking us on this unexpected journey of our inner undeniable splendidness. 🥹🙌🏼

Eager to listen to the podcast and no doubt will be tossing my head all day. Last week was a doozy and this was the perfect antidote- thanks Jeff!!!

My family and the neighbours's alaskan husky are always uplifted when I do it. Now I will be more emboldened and grounded (behind my insecurities) to expand my reach, of giving the magnificence of my rubicond uplifting ridiculousness, to more people. McGill (the dude) , apparently was onto the right decorum. He just was not privy to the right script. Time for a rewrite the game of the 3 minute thesis defence, in the light Betty Martin talk to Harry Faddis.

This week I had a student ask about the difference between radioactive decay and irradiation. I told her it was a similar give / receive kind of dynamic.
