Holy crap I'm so happy to be part of this community. Jeff, your meditation was so emotionally meaningful, transferring all the gratitude you shared into my own expressions of gratitude for people and life and EVERYTHING. And yes, all the lines everyone mentioned - "here to bring you back," "you don't have to earn it," and "circles radiating out in time and space..." each one made me drop down a bit more.
And Varda - wow. every time I lose my shit, I'm turning to your practice. 🙏
Jeff, when you said “and I’m here to bring you back” got me all emotional. 🥹 Thanks for always sharing and reminding us of so many different ways to come back home to ourselves.
The day I became a member of Calm app — you were, and continue to be part of my journey. Every day I give thanks to you Jeff for your compassionate and supportive practice to the global community of us humans ... I'm learning each day to always come back home — home to this open sacred space — again and again. The other day I was feeling so overwhelmed with thoughts regarding my husband and his health ... There's only one of me, and I need to listen to how I communicate with others — with compassion — for me to feel the gentleness and rhythm of our core nature. I stopped everything I was doing. I took a nap! I didn't sleep but I could feel all thoughts moving away from me. I felt the peace and joy of living ... Keep on Keeping On! And Joy to all of us humans. Right where we are.
I feel exactly the same way about Jeff being a part of my journey which began on the Calm app. I now consider him my teacher and friend. And I consider this community “my people”. I love knowing there are humans out there that are willing to sit quietly together in silence and just be. It is deep and powerful and necessary. I’m grateful for all of this.🙏
For so many weeks, I've thought of being with the community of HOME BASE — The Do Nothing Project. ❤️ I feel as though I need to step out and connect to 'my people' as you have. This is one of my first steps in doing so ... And a place to just sit with others in silence and 'be.' Thank you Kay for including me. Carol
Carol, I wanted you to know that you will be in my thoughts today, sending you energy and love. I can empathize with overwhelming thoughts and fears I had related to my own husband's health two years ago. One of the reminders that I found comforting was the relief that can be found in the "not knowing".....specifically what Jeff teaches us about "not knowing....and not needing to know".....As difficult as that can be, when I remembered this, and remembered that the only real thing we have is the actual moment we are in, and then it's gone, I felt comfort, albeit briefly. But repeatedly. Sending you my energy and thoughts.
Thank you for your thoughts today ... Yes, I've heard Jeff say a number of times, "not knowing — not needing to know.' Yes, all we have is 'this' moment, again and again. I am so incredibly grateful for the teachings and practice of meditation. My life opens to the fullness of meditation — Love, Compassion, Comfort, Joy, Support and Care. Divine Guidance and Wisdom. Leadership and the Forgiveness of Self; and others. With regards to the happenings of global events, I offer Peace and Goodwill — right now wherever we are. Present. ❤️ Carol
Thank you, Jeff, for the beautiful, honest reflection. As a parent of two, I absolutely feel for you. I've been in that place too. My late dad's advice for navigating these seasons of life comes back to me often. He would say in a kind and understanding voice: "Just do the best you can. It's all you can do."
And thank you for your wonderful teaching, which has helped me so much.
Jeff, this was overflowing with a quiet but intense love, and incredibly moving. The only way to make it through the tumult of this life with a measure of calm is with love and compassion for each other. Not as an occasional act but as a way of being. Thank you. ❤️
You are the best Richard. Your energy is oh so good. I feel it through the airwaves. Thank you for always expressing exactly what I’m feeling so eloquently. 🙏
Oh, Kay. Thank you for such kindness. That is so very meaningful to hear. I'll continue to fill those airwaves. :) Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a gorgeous message.
Dear Jeff, you always seem to speak directly from your heart, and we all feel that connection with you,and we are thankful and grateful for you opening your heart and letting us share your innermost thoughts with us.
🙏 Jeff. Your meditation nestled deep in my heart. Your ability to be vulnerable and honest with the hardest emotions, and have us rest in those places with you, is its own form of healing for me. I’m so glad my meditation resonated with you. The framing that helped me move past the self consciousness of recording one was understanding that each community member meditation was an act of love. And that by participating— whether through recording or listening—is an act of gratitude towards each other. I am so grateful for you, for this community and for how I just feel held by both. And a special thanks to Joe for his notes of encouragement to us and for a beautiful inaugural community meditation. 💜

You’re welcome Malaya, and thank you for your own guided meditation, so good!
Gahh thank you, Jeff. 😊😬🥹
Thank you, Jeff. I’m truly grateful to be part of a community where vulnerability is embraced as a strength.
It was great to meet you this past weekend Zankhana, hope you had a good rest of your retreat ❤️
Same here! Hope to see you again soon!

Grateful for these moments of reprieve from the stress of everyday existence.
"Slowing down....unhurried....You can rest here. You don't need to earn it." My GOD I needed to hear this at exactly the moment I did.
Thank you, Jeff - for guiding me back into life these past few years, and in many cases helping me see life in ways I did or could not previously.
Thank you to my friends in this community. I am honored to do this with you.
Thank you Joe for the energy and life you are bringing to this community.
In the words of a wise man I know "It could have gone so many ways, but it went this way." I'm so thankful for that. :)
Awesome Richard, and say hi to your mom for me!
and I quote... "Awe - love him."
I was also really struck by that phrase — “you don’t need to earn it.” That could be an entire meditation.
You are the best Richard. Your energy is oh so good. I feel it through the airwaves. Thank you for always expressing exactly what I’m feeling so eloquently. 🙏

So many treasured phrases in this meditation! Thank you for reminding me.

So beautiful Varda. Thank you🙏
This one felt particularly intimate, and I was truly held the entire time. Thanks so much, Jeff!
