In this episode of nothing whatsoever happening, some nice community feels, I talk about my four year-old‘s birthday party that I just came out of, and then we chat on our … practices! The unsexy steadiness of it, the day in and day out staying with it - not the promise of getting fixed or total transformation, but the thing that helps you be ever-more available for what’s happening and what wants to happen in your life. How that deepens too. At the end, we chat about Shinzen’s idea of “complete experience” and what that means, how meditation helps life become ever-more complete on its own terms. We also share a bunch about other meditation teachers that we like out there. And I realize I forgot to say Sebene Selassie, my other favorite!

Live Community Meditations
Here's where we meditate live together, in community. From our weekly Sunday Do Nothing Project broadcasts (8pm ET on Substack Live), to our monthly Thursday Home Base Hangouts (12:15pm ET on Zoom).
Practicing with an open-minded group of fellow explorers can make life better. This will soon be a paid archive; if that's out of reach for you, let us know and we'll get you in there!
